About Don Stewart

I have created and exhibited art throughout my adult life. Since my discharge from the Army in 1989 I have lived and exhibited in San Antonio. Exhibitions include: Carver Community Center, St. Phillips College, Joan Grona Gallery, Galeria Ortiz, City of San Antonio, Concrete Gallery and currently with Eye of the Beholder. I create narrative and figurative pieces focused on and created out of observations, conversations, meditations, personal and social concerns. Over arching aesthetic concern is, does it pass the eye test, does the piece communicate clearly. I create images in free verse, they don’t rhyme.
